How do you change profile photo keeps saying access denied

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Android mobile device are you using? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? Can you please share with me a screenshot of the error message you receive? In the meantime I receive your answers, please try the following steps and let me know if the issue persists:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the OS version of your phone is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

I'm using Samsung s20 I've tried everything and still comes with access denied

I have even uninstall and re installed and still says it everything is upto date

Since this issue is occurring with the Fitbit app for Android phones, can you please try changing the profile picture on Fitbit.com website? This way, I'll be able to identify if the issue is with your profile or the Fitbit app as itself.

It let me change it on the website so looks like the problem is with the app.

I am also having this problem as well.  I have a Galaxy S20 5G.  I attempted all the troubleshooting steps above to no avail.  I also modified the fit bit app permissions in Android manually but that also did not work

I've also tried all the troubleshooting options and attempted to change my profile picture from the website, but still can't change, edit,  or delete my profile picture.  I contacted chat and was told someone would contact me but an estimate on when couldn't be provided.

Same my android phone does NOT let me upload a profile picture either.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S10 and I have been unable to update my profile photo using the app as well as accessing the desktop version. Troubleshooting steps did not resolve this issue. Is there a fix in place for Android users?
