Access denied error while trying to change profile photo

How do you change profile photo keeps saying access denied

I have Galaxy S21 Ultra and having the same problem, I've managed to change my profile photo on every app on my phone with no problem, I might have guessed I would have a problem with Fitbit. The app has always been very glitchy with basic requests, hopefully Google will get around to sorting it out sometime soon.

Galaxy S10+ and I'm having the same issue

I have done these steps multiple times over 2 days , Feb. 28 to Mar. 1/2021. And the same error + access denied message keeps reoccurring! Very annoyed at this point!!

I have tried to change my profile pic via the website and I get an error message too!

Using a Samsung Galaxy S10+

Android Version 11.

Hi all, 

I just wanted to say that I had this issue until just now when I updated the app. I'm on a S20+ myself. Once I updated the app, I was able to change my picture and my banner picture too.
