Yesterday Inaccidentally deleted the exercise log from my Fitbit app on my phone! There was no question to ask if I wanted to confirm deletion at all! Now I cannot interrogate my Fitbit app for any exercise I do. How do I get this log back on to my phone?

I am assuming you mean you deleted the exercise tile, rather than deleting an individual workout.

Tap the 'Edit' button near top right; scroll down to 'Deleted Stats' to see if it is there.

If not there, tap 'Discover' tab at bottom > 'Health & Fitness Stats' > 'Exercise'

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
