Active minutes and days exercise.

I'm probably being a bit thick here but what is the connection between 'active minutes' and 'days of exercise this week' on a Charge 3? I'm asking because I assumed that reaching my active minutes target on any given day would count as 1 day of exercise that week. However I have met my active minutes target for the last 14 days, but while from Jan 6 to Jan 12  it tells me I did 7 days, this week is only saying I have done 3 days. Is this correct??

Hi @ConfusedChris The two are different things, though it is rather confusing when you are new to them. Active minutes are recorded when you are at 3 METs (metabolic equavelents) or more for at least 10 minutes. THIS Help Article explainsnit better than I can.

Your days of activity are the days your tracker has recorded you doing a recognised 'activity' such as a walk, run, elliptical, outdoor bike, swim etc etc, either recorded automatically or by using an exercise shortcut to start and stop the activity. It is a different item than active minuets as you can record active minutes without the tracker knowing what activity you have been doing.

I hope that helps a bit.

Well maybe just exercise it didnt recognise. With the Charge 3, if it doesnt auto recognise what you are doing, you can always start and stopnthe activity using one ofnthe exercise shortcuts, or ifbthere isnt a shortcut that fits the activity you are doing you cannuse the 'workout' shorcut. What activities are you doing?

Thanks again for the response, but to be honest I'm not really worried what it does and doesn't recognise automatically. I was just a bit puzzled as to the differences between the figures. Also, I don't trust these figures much anyway as it has now counted last Tuesday as one of my 'days exercise' where it previously had not!! Thanks again.
