I did a challenging uphill hike which lasted 1 hours and 50 minutes. The exercise and heart rates are recognized and recorded by my fitbit charge HR. However my active minutes is a big fat 0. When I looked at the exercise detail for my heart rate throughout the hike, only the first 5 minutes are below fat burn. The rest are 36 minutes of fat burn, 66 minutes of cardio and 2 minutes of peak. From the graph, I can see that I had more than 10 minutes where my heart rate is at cardio level. My understanding is that fitbit uses HR and a minimum of 10 minutes. Why is fitbit not recognizing this hike as active minutes and instead record this 0 active minutes.
