I just recently got the charge 2 after my first charge took a crap. Either way, i have noticed that my charge 2 doesnt always record my active minutes. Its frustrating to see i work hard and get no show for my work. Any suggestions?

Restarting my fitbit fixed the issues I was having tracking my active minutes so I made a video on how to restart my fitbit charge 2 here:

Hey @Marzillis, welcome to the Community! So even after you logged your activity, weight lifting, in this case, they still not showing, right? If so, I'd like you to tell me, are you trying to log your exercise over the Fitbit app or through your computer? Also, I'd like you to take into consideration how active minutes are tracked. It is necessary intensity and time for them to be recognized by your Charge 2. Please take a look at this help article: What are active minutes?
Keep me posted!

I am having same issue with my Charge 2. Almost each week there is a day or so that it does not recognise as an Activity day … this particular day I did 47 mins and it exceeded one of the other days, yet on my weekly goal, it was not recognised as an exercise day. This is fusatrating. I have closed the app, and restarted, rebooted the watch (though I think it is an app problem) and I cannot get that exercise day accepted unless I log manually, which beats the purpose of having the watch. I have other problems with the fitbit watch, so am getting close to moving on with another brand. These forums seem to go on and on, with people having same problem years on end. I am not sure if fitbit are doing anything. We should not have to have all these workarounds to get a watch to do what it is supposed to do. I bought the watch to track my activities, so that I feel good … when it misses things such as exercise (and steps which is my other issue) it totally takes away the reason why I bought the watch. Would be good if fitbit actually fixed these issues, instead of these forums continuing, with people having the same issues over and over again .. for years …

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, it has been a problem for me intermittently - I could get weeks with it doing the right thing, then it would happen again. The latest is two weeks in a row. I set my goal to 6 days a week, but most weeks I do 7 , but of course with it missing a days activity it only records the 6. I’m mainly frustrated, because I bought the fitbit to encourageme to keep going, and it is funny how that even though I have done the work, and it isn’t recorded, I still feel I have failed. This is just me, others might be happy with finding workarounds, and playing with all sorts of things to just get the fitbit to record what it should. It has some wonderful things, in the watch and the app, but these wonderful things don’t amount to much if they don’t work. I thank you again for your reply, and will see how I go, but am seriously looking at some other brands after owning a fitbit for 5 + years.
