The Fitbit app is showing 35 active minutes, but I wasn't active.
How is this possible and how do I delete it?

Hello @SunsetRunner, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! Has this ever happened to you before or until now? The active minutes are tracked after at least a 10 minutes of medium to high-intense activity. However if you say that you did't do any workout, our Charge 2 shouldn't be tracking them. But don't you worry, in order to avoid this from happening again, I suggest you to perform a restart by following the instructions in this post. Now about erasing the active minutes, let me tell you that is not possible.
I hope this helps! If you have further questions, keep me posted!

Yes, it has been happening for awhile now. At first I noticed 8 or 9 minute
active minutes here and there, which was odd because of the whole 10 minute
thing. As of Monday, it gave me a few more minutes than I deserved.
Yesterday I got 49 active minutes that I don't deserve at all.
Also, I did perform a restart last night. I actually did it three times in a row because of something I read on another post about having to restart three times for it to take. When I restart it it takes whatever charge I had left on the battery to zero charge. Anyway, I have 20 active minutes for today already and I'm at work and I am not active.
As a side note, I noticed last week that when walking on my treadmill with no incline at a pace of 3 mph, my Charge 2 was registering my heart rate all over the place. It would show my heart rate spike at 120ish to 150ish and then it wouldn't register my heart rate at all. It only showed two dashes. When it did show the heart rate, it would be higher than I know it really was. I am within the warranty time frame and I have a replacement coming, but I'm thinking that if one thing starts to not function properly, I guess it's a matter of time before everything else starts to go. 😞

I'm wondering if the Fitbit device is showing "active minutes" based on heart rate being accelerated for a certain amount of minutes. For instance, I typically don't wear my Fitbit when getting ready in the morning for work, but lately, after I get out of the shower, I've been putting it on. With my arms flailing about drying and styling my hair, I notice that my heart rate is in the fat burning and cardio zones. Is this a possible cause?
These active minutes are not counting towards my weekly exercise.

Yes. The same thing happens to me. I usually have between 15 and 20 minutes registered on work days. The only thing i can equate it to is the brief burst of effort doing hair and changing clothes etc. My home is small so there is not a ton of steps but my heart rate does go up.

Did you get any joy in a way of resolving this, at the moment all my Fitbit is is the most expensive digital watch I've ever owned. Never registers my runs properly, says my heart rates in the 150s when manually I can feel it in the 80s. I complained a thousand time and was ignored every single one. Just told to restart.

I have the same problem with my charge 5, I have been inactive all day and it shows 17 zone minutes and regularly shows my heart rate is over a hundred.

I think this is it…I got 67 mins of intense activity logged yesterday while I was driving to my dentist appt! I get a lot of active mins when I’m driving, but I have really bad anxiety so I guess it’s normal. It’s just really weird to see that when your just driving or sitting down!

Hello @Misty4 and welcome to the Community. Both active minutes and active zone minutes are based on your heart rate measurement. The moderator's response to the OP was incorrect. Anything that raises heart rate, like anxiety or fever, can give you active minutes.
