After firmware update exercise is cutting off

Since I updated the firmware, my exercise (walking), has cut off in the middle of my daily walk. I look down and the screen is back to the clock and I have to restart. What gives?

After syncing your Charge 4 do you see a cut off recording or a recording in pieces, of your walk, or none at all?

Do you use GPS while you record your walk?

Have you restarted your Charge 4 after the update?How do I restart my Fitbit device?
