Thanks Alain,
After having 2 hr's go bubbly, Irealize that fitbit is selling a faulty product. The Samsung looks good.

@deric01 Yeah it's great and what's cool about it is that you can customize the display. In fact, there are many apps for the Gear Fit 2 for you to choose from.
I've only had it for a few hours but I already like it much more than I liked my first HR.
And yes, Fitbit willingly sells a faulty product... Don't get a 3rd HR, it'll go bubbly on you.
Cheers.

My only problem with changing products is the cost at the moment. I'm seriously thinking about it but I know that it will be a little while before I will be able to afford the Gear Fit 2... especially since I have to come up with the money for 2 of them.
@AlainChenard Thank you for sharing the picture of your new Gear Fit 2... now I know what I'm looking into when I do have the money to get something better than what I have.

See Fitbit, you should send your new Fitbit Charge 2 to customers otherwise you are going to lose them in droves. Acknowledge you have a problem similar to what Samsung is doing with Note 7 and replace them with Fitbit Charge 2. We all know getting a new Fitbit Charge HR will develop the same problem. Some of us have gone through 2-3 trackers already. Your advertisement shows people hiking etc but this defect shows up in your daily grind of work and home. I could not imagine this device doing much better when hiking, etc. Enough already, stop hiding from this manufacture defect and either give us our money back or replace them with new Fitbit Charge 2. I prefer the latter because I still believe in this company but my believe is wearing out with each new Fitbit Charge HR that continues to bubble up and the band becomes undone. Nobody buys these devices to throw away within a few months. And you are alienating your customers who first gave you a chance.

@Jose16 The new Charge 2 is Fitbit's answer to the Charge HR defective band problem. They're not going to send a brand new product out to replace the old one because they want us all to buy this new design that was created to fix the issue we all have been having with the HR. The new 2 now makes it so that we can remove the tracker from the band and switch out/replace the band so of course they aren't going to just give us the new design for free. The price difference is just to great for them to do that. Nice thought but it isn't going to happen.

This is my second Fitbit Charge HR. The first one had a charging problem and Customer Service replaced it at no charge. I was very happy with CS that one time. My replacement unit started bubbling. I called CS again and was offered a coupon. After reading through the comments on this board, it appears to be a common problem. Why would I spend more of my hard earned money on a defective product. I think it is time to switch to another brand of fitness band.
I think everyone on social media sites should know about this problem.

Unfortunately I'm two weeks after my one year warranty on my charge HR and funnily enough, I got mine in February 2016...it just bubbled now and I have been using it in all sorts of temperature variances. It's hard for me to believe it's a temperature issue and not a "bad batch"

I had the same problem, they replaced the first one after six months n/c, the second one bubbled after 7 months and they said no go, offered a 25% discount on a new one... I'm trying to glue it back together now. Will not go back to fitbit as this is obviously a design and production problem that's widespread and they are not really standing behind it. You get a year of service, sometimes through multiple units then you have to throw it away and buy a new one.

The skin of my Charge HR is bubbled up n is out of warranty... What should I do now?

My 2nd one did the same..and is out of warranty...I am looking elsewhere. After spending hundreds with fitbit over the years the best they offered to address a problem was 25% off...with a 30 day window. ...and then immediately offered 50% sales to the general public for Mothers Day items.
It is clear that they don't care sufficiently to retain my business.
Samsung Gear, Garmin, plenty of others to look at.

I am on my 3rd fitbit in less than a year since the same bubble issue keeps coming back and the same band is sent by fitbit customer service. They asked me to buy another one at a discount which is ridiculous. Not sure why I would spent more money on a more expensive version if they can't even send me one where a band works correctly. Customer service had the nerve to tell me that this is my last one since I am just over my warranty period. I honestly won't even redeem this new fitbit since they will send me the charge HR again and I bet it will have bubbles in 90 days again. Not sure why they don't send me a newer version, I am done with this company and brand. Great software but bad customer service.
