Up until yesterday, I had a function on my Fitbit Charge 3's app to be able to set a silent alarm. I just went into my app again now, because I needed to set an alarm to get me up for an early start at work tomorrow, and the Alarm setting part of my app has completely disappeared.
When I go into my app and click on Charge 3, the only things it lists for me now are "Wrist", "Notifications", "Reminders to Move", "Main Goal", and "Exercise Shortcuts". There is no mention whatsoever of "Alarms" as there used to be (which I think previously was listed before "Notifications"). Why might this be, and how am I to set an alarm for my Fitbit now please?
I've tried exiting out of the app and going back in again, turning my iPad off and back on again, and uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app, but there is still no Alarm setting option as there had been previously.

The update made setting the alarm - one of my most common uses - unnecessarily frustrating to the point where I’ve taken off my Fitbit and just use my phone now.
So weird how you take away functions and people abandon your products...let us know if/when they fix the app.

what designers don't take into account is that on the single place to wear a clock some of us want to have... a clock, and ON TOP of it other functionality like counting steps, beats etc. Because just 2 hour per day we are focused on those gadgets...They keep saying that this is not a clock, and is ok that they move the alarm settings on the "bracelet" and I see many comments that sustain this. But this mean that the product is going in wrong direction. Why the designer of electric car take into consideration the importance of the phone in the settings, and not the Fitbit designers? What if I have a week vision? From my point if view, when my device will be out of guarantee and "out of sevice" I'll never try or recommend another fitbit device. In the mean time, I wait for another upgrade.

It doesn't work if DND is active.

Maybe they took it off the app because it did such a bad job of syncing I recall it would take over ten minutes just to set alarm for next day. Sometimes it would take so much longer I would give up. Phone next to the watch, set fir sync now. It was something that worked at first, and then over time didn’t.
So now they have bad interface for it on the watch. Even after getting the directions it took 6 tries to remove alarms from the watch.
The watch itself is cool, but software interface is horrible. It’s as if they collected features from multiple companies and put them together with no thought for hierarchy or flow.
Removing the alarm setting from the app with no mention, not even a placeholder, to direct how to set and remove alarm was bad.
Never did understand why sync would take so long. Especially when set for all day sync. How much info needs to be sent?
The basic software interface is so bad, I would never consider paying for the full feature version.

I have noticed since updates on charge 3 you can now set the alarm on the watch and not the app so it is still there just not in the app

I've spent 3 hours trying to find a solution to this issue. Most of the "best answers" sent me to a response in 2019 that is no longer relevant to this app update. I did go to the Alarm app within the Fitbit app on my phone. I was not able to set anything there. It basically looks like a confirmation that the app is installed. Have much trial and error, I went to my Dashboard on Fitbit.com and managed to set 2 alarms. Hopefully, I got it to work. I hope that the feature will be brought back to the phone app with an easy access to set alarms. Thanks!

Fitbit team: I use silent alarm to find my watch when it is lost so moving it to the watch is a big feature loss. Please listen to the community and add silent alarm control back in the app. Thanks.
