Alternative way to wear Charge 3 for work

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi guys

i have just bought my Fitbit charge 3 to track my daily fitness levels, however I cannot wear it at work on my wrist as I work in operation theatres and have to be bear below the elbow (meaning no jewellery or watches)

Are there any other accurate ways to wear my Fitbit?

Thanks

Welcome on board @Chazzym14, it's nice to see you here! Why don't you check if your phone is compatible to have MobileTrack. This feature lets you use the Fitbit app without a Fitbit tracker by using your phone's sensors to track basic activity data including steps, distance, and calories burned. MobileTrack does not monitor floors, sleep, or active minutes. In addition to activity tracking, you also have access to other app features such as:

  • Food tracking
  • Weight tracking
  • Setting fitness goals
  • Adding friends
  • Friends leaderboard
  • Cheering, taunting, and messaging friends

It doesn't have the option to track sleep, but you can give it a try! You can read more about it in this Fitbit article. Take a moment and check compatibility of your phone in the list of supported devices.

Hi

Thanks for the reply

My phone is compatible but I cannot use it as hospital policy states that my phone must stay in my locker when not on a lunch or tea break

are there any other options?

Thanks

Thanks for getting back @Chazzym14! Personally, I haven't worn my Fitbit anywhere else but my wrist. But, check this post from @Colinm39. Hope it helps! Smiley Wink

When i had the smaller one (HR), i bought a clip and wore it under my clothes clipped to my bra. That was great and also allowed me to wear my “going out” watch. I’ve been unable to find one compatible with the charge 3, the ones i found on amazon only cover the two. Raechel

I can’t wear a watch to work either, so I put my charge in my sock (without band) against my ankle. As long as it’s against skin, it should read.
