Another Broken Strap - Charge 4

Well another Charge 4 strap broken, last one was May 2022.

And Amazon are trying to fob me off with fill out the form on the Fitbit home page, but Fitbit need an invoice to submit a claim and Amazon can take two business days to supply that.

So my choice, wait a few days with no watch whilst waiting for the invoice to arrive, then fill out the form on here to get a replacement strap, and then probably wait a couple of weeks for that to arrive.  Or to hell with this, my purchase contract is with Amazon not Fitbit and therefore if they cannot fix/replace the strap, it's full refund time.  With another new warranty.  And let Amazon fight it out with Fitbit themselves later

The fact that Fitbit says you can only submit one strap replacement claim every four months implies that Fitbit is aware that the straps are useless and will break two or three times a year.

Fitbit is aware that they are selling a substandard product, as evidenced by the replace up to every 4 months being needed, but continue to do so rather than fix it.

But hey the good news, with my refund, a new Charge 5 is only an additional £10 and comes with a free '6-months Premium Membership', at the rate these straps break I should be able to get a new '6 months' every six months meaning it never needs to be paid for.

The morale of this story is Fitbit FIX YOUR **ahem** STRAPS.

Forgot this was a US forum and even mild cursing would be blocked, I didn't swear, the wording I used you could say to your priest.
