Another unhappy (now former) customer

I have had my Fitbit Charge 4 for just under 13.5 months - and the connector broke.  I have treated the tracker quite carefully - I have a desk job and simply wanted the Fitbit for counting steps and tracking sleep.  No way should the connector have broken, especially after 13.5 months.   Fitbits used to be a great product but the quality has greatly decreased.   (My Fitbit Alta HR has METAL connectors  - but Fitbit apparently decided to increase their profits by making  the connectors out of cheap plastic on the Charge 4 and Charge 5.  After reading the board I now know this is a frequent problem and complaint.  Of course, Fitbit doesn't care and won't even fix the band for a small fee - since it is out of warranty by about 6 weeks, I am out of luck.    Well, they just lost a  customer.   (I have given Fitbits to several family members  - Christmas gifts and such.  I hope they forgive me for giving them a crappy product.)
