App not showing heart rate graph nor resting heart rate

I have had this strange problem for over a month now, not all days though. But I cannot figure out what is going wrong.

My Fitbit is measuring my heart rate almost all day fine. But the app won't show it in the "heart rate section" (see image 1). It also does not give me a resting heart rate for these days (in the resting heart rater graph).

And now comes the strange thing, if I click on anyday with a graph, the app allows me to swipe left and right to get to previous day's, and there the heart rate data of these days IS visible (figure 2 and 3)

I worn the tracker all days, all days without a resting heart rate in the graph are "missing"I worn the tracker all days, all days without a resting heart rate in the graph are "missing"

This week, no graph of Monday or today, only tuesdayThis week, no graph of Monday or today, only tuesday

What is going wrong here? Both app and tracker are up to date. I reserved the tracker already, signed out and back in from the app and reinstalled the app.

It's been going on for over a month. It skips every Sunday and Monday, sometimes Saturday and Sunday. It's sooo weird. This week , the last day it showed the data was Saturday and today is Tuesday. They need to get this glitch fixed. Seems like a very common problem and I'm pretty sure it was after the last update.
Yes, the data is there is you swipe. but I like to see the graph for my RHR and how it differs during different times of the month to show my cardiologist and other doctors.

Same issue on a Charge 5 using the iOS app.  I cannot believe that support hasn’t noticed or bothered to try to answer this?

Hi Boomer 5555,

Found your comment on the web. Just thought I'd let you know that 3 years on the same problem remains. I have a charge 4 and a new charge 5 and

exactly the same situation.  I also have the problem that RHR is only occassionally shown.

Happy to do so.

Everyone should contact support using the chat feature and open a case, it’s the only way the developers will actually figure out why the marges on the database backend isn’t working anymore.  Be the squeaky wheel, it’s the only thing support organizations understand - trust me I’ve run support/qa teams 😉

Just got a Pixel Watch. Same problem. Terrible first impression. I wish Google would just do the software and not rely on bug ridden FitBit stuff. Seeing that this thread was opened three years ago, I don't have high hopes.

Very interesting to hear from you. As a matter of self interest I did an
internet
search on Samsung and Apple watches and easily found reports of the same
problem.
None of these watches seem totally reliable.

I reported to Fitbit support two weeks ago and was advised the problem was
being
upscaled. Since then I've heard nothing.

It is going on several months now since this issue has affected so many of us and **ahem** but really just doesn’t care. It’s a shame that I’ve been with this company for more than a decade and a faithful user of the devices I’ve bought more than $1000 worth of their equipment and gifted it to several people as well. It’s sad that your development team just lets us sit here and stew like this.

Totally agree all your comments. Mine provided 2 days results last week
after 2 weeks of nothing. Trouble is the company are not recognising openly
it is a major failing and until they do, nothing changes and some will get
the data some times and many won't care they are not.

Same problem... I use cardiogram app for heart data. Stupid the Fitbit app doesn't work right, but at least they sync.

Hi,

Now Google have control, perhaps they will fix the problem. They are
advertising hard on our TV how good it is.

Curiously I had my rhr resolved last Saturday, Sunday and Monday but then
as usual it stopped.

The annoying thing is that for two years earlier models worked fine.

Cheers

Yup, my biggest beef is that I have 12 years worth of data and have obviously have been a customer this whole time. Aria scale and charge 1-5 and another tracker forget the model before that.

They broke the historical data with the app change. These guys have SIGNIFICANT TECHNICAL DEBT.

My Versa 3 broke recently and it was a blessing! I'm back to using the Charge 2 I used to use and no issues tracking resting heart rate now. The Versa 3 I had went 8 days of no tracking, So glad that thing is gone!
I agree about HUGE issues with the app change and most recent update. I hate it.

Great to hear Versa 2 is working for you. 3 worked for me for a while then
stopped. Fitbit sent me a 4 as replacement under warranty. It didn't work
consistently. I worked a free upgrade to 5 and that is just the same.
I had a message from someone who bought a google watch. Just as bad. Now
Google have fitbit seems the future is not bright we'll get a decent
product again .

Not a joke, I canceled my premium subscription because of this issue and that seems to have solved it. It is worth a shot; the least it can do is save you money.
