Weird issue today. I left my charger at work over the weekend, so the battery died completely over the weekend. When I put it on the charger, this morning, it appeared not to do anything. I was looking at the app later on to check on a challenge and discovered that the app shows my fitbit is fully charged (full green icon). The Charge 2, however, still only shows an empty battery icon when I tap it, and will display nothing else. It does, now, appear to be counting as the app updates, but I see nothing happening on the unit. I've already tried the restart routine...just shows the empty battery. No matter how long I hold the button down, I don't appear to get a reset. It never displays the firm ware version. Anyone else seen this? I'd appreciate any suggestions that might be out there. Thanks! Tim

@notangrybob, welcome! It's good that the community is growing!
Let me help you with your Charge 2 not charging and thank you for restarting your device. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. You can also find additional suggestions here.
Let me know how it goes.

I have a similar issue. Charge 2 has behaved faultlessly, and then yesterday it went blank.
Putting it on charge it shows battery empty warning. I have restarted it several times and I am able to sync it when it is on charge. While on the charger it shows 100% battery on the app but zero on the tracker.
Once or twice it has come alive after restarting and shows 100% but this quickly goes to 60% after 10 minutes and then it dies.
Not looking good 😞
Contacts are clean and charger is original. Restart done 20 times at least.

Hi AlvaroFitbit,
To be clear, this isn't the problem I reported. My fitbit is, in fact, charging and the app shows it. The fitbit, itself, however, shows nothing but the "empty battery" icon on it's screen. It's holding a charge normally, and counting steps, which I can only see via the app.
Any thoughts?
