Are there any answers to inaccurate distance for Charge 3???

Distance, pace and calories on my Charge 3 seem off on every exercise, especially compared to Strava.

For example, 5k run the other day, Fitbit says 282 calories, strava says 186?

2.16mi run the other week, Fitbit pace says 9'47", Strava says 9'36"??

My partner used my Fitbit to do a half marathon yesterday, Fitbit says he only ran 9.46mi!! Accuracy is so far off! I understand our strides will be different, but not almost 4mi out! 

This is so frustrating, Charge 3 wasn't exactly cheap, I feel I've wasted my money on it as I now have to use Strava simultaneously just to check accuracy!

No I haven't actually, I need see several people mention that but I'm not sure how to do it!
