Band stinks...and calls not registering

The band on my Charge 2 absolutely STINKS, despite daily wiping with alcohol.  I take it off as soon as I'm done at the gym (I get super sweaty), wipe it down with the alcohol then allow to dry.  As soon as I’m done with gym, I stop wearing my Fitbit ask the smell transfers onto my skin...eeewww.

Seems that replacement bands (are they replacement on the Charge 2?) are no longer available in the Fitbit store.

Also, my calls are not registering with my Charge 2.  I can't always have my phone on and rely on my Charge vibrating to alert me to calls.  Suggestions?

Hey @Nessa77, it is great to see you around! Let me give you a hand on this 2 inconveniences that you are experiencing with your Charge 2.

In regards of the wristband, depending on it's material, you can take a look at the different tips on our wear and care link, in order to eliminate the bad smell on your band.

Now in regards of the call notifications, I'd like you to make sure that your Charge 2 is not on "do not disturb" mode. Please press and hold the side button on your tracker to verify this information.

Let me know how it goes!

Sorry for the late reply. Notifications now working but despite following the band cleaning steps, it has made no difference.

Thanks for your reply @Nessa77! Sounds bad that the band stinks yet. Let me suggest you something, if you have already checked at the Fitbit store and there is no replacement band, please check this link www.fitbit.com/retailers and you might find a wristband. 🙂

When I hold my tracker button down, it only shows if my notifications are on or off. Since the unit was replaced, I can't see texts or calls, either. Thanks for and assistance

Hey @1ncebitten, I hope you are doin' fine! By pressing and holding the side button, you turn on or off the notifications. Now, if the Charge 2 you currently have is brand new, then you have to set the notifications. In order to do that, please follow the instructions in this help article: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

Let me know how it goes!
