Battery Dead--won't reset or recharge

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Charge 3 battery life had diminished to less than 24 hrs. Now the battery is dead and it won't charge at all. I tried the reset procedure and nothing happens. I left it plugged into my device for 4 hours and nothing. Tried to reset again and still nothing.

Mine is not even 2-1/2 months old. I purchased 3/1.

Mine also won't recharge. I've tried cleaning the terminals and the sensors on the back of the unit. Nothing. Mine is also only a couple of months old. Useless.

Hi, if it's less than 2 years old get onto Fitbit customer service. They are really good about replacing faulty units.Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

My Charge 3 is a little over one year old and has never charged within the 2 hours.  The battery lasts for 7 days (thankfully); however it takes days to charge to 99% (never 100%) and quickly goes down to 85% within 10 minutes of wearing the device.  I follow the instructions for cleaning the sensors and the pins each time I charge it.  Last year, I called customer support and they sent me a new charging cable which never improved the charging process. This weekend I cannot get the charge any higher than 45%. I also cannot reboot the device.  The Charge 3 recharging process is very frustrating.

I’ve gone thru 2 Charges (customer service was great about replacing the first one after I contacted them with the issue). Unfortunately I had same battery/recharging problem with the 2nd one. I’ve used Fitbit’s for years, but my experience with the Charge has me giving up on Fitbit for now. I recently ordered another brand of fitness tracker and hope it will be more reliable.

My Charge 3 is 13 months old. Display is dimming and battery will not charge anymore. Fitbit will not replace. I am 3 weeks out of warranty. They offered 25% off another purchase. Why would I do that with no support for their devices? I really enjoy it, but not confident of the quality after so many have the issue. May be time to move on to another company/tracker.
