My battery life seems to fluctuate on longer runs. Three days ago I ran 13 mi in 3 hours and it had no issues. Still had about 50% left. Yesterday I went out for a 15 mi and my charge 4 died at the 13 mi mark after 3 hrs of use. I do not carry my phone with me. My Fitbit syncs w iOS (iPhone 10) before and after my run. Trying to find ways to extend my Fitbit charge 4 battery life to its full “5 hour w GPS” use time as per specs. Is there a reason why it had no issues 3 days ago but did yesterday? Is there a setting which will allow for a higher energy efficiency? My screen brightness is “auto”.

Hi there @Jujhaar.s. Welcome to Community Forums.
I appreciate you shared your experience with the Community. I'd recommend you check this article, Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?.
When the GPS is activated and linked with your Fitbit device it drains the battery because of the continuous exchange of information in between devices. The minimum battery life required for GPS usage is 50% per tracking.
Hope this helps.
