My Charge HR is one week old and won't hold a charge. Originally charged battery for 2 hrs. Since Friday, I have had to charge it everyday usually in the middle of my steps or workout, preventing me from achieving my goals.

Sorry about the problems you're experiencing, @rosbre63. It sounds like your device needs a re-start. Try this two or three times then please let us know if it worked.

How do I restart this device?

Nevermind!! I found the instructions. My device is brand new and won't hold a charge for even one day.  I opened the package on December 4. I wore it the 5th and 6th but had to charge it multiple times. Just reset it three times.  We'll see what happens today after it's fully charged again.

My FItBit Charge HR is about three years old and has been charging perfectly normally. Woke up earlier this week to find it dead. Charged it up (showed battery symbol etc as normal when connecting to charger lead) to indicated 100%. Within a few hours it was dead again. I've repeated this several times, each time battery shows as 100%, but with hours its dead again. I've tried the reboot about 6 times and its made no difference. My four years of continuous FitBit records are now broken!

I'm having the same issue.  My fitbit charge is only 3yrs old. It will charge but will only hold for a few hours before it's dead again. Is there a battery that can be changed or is it a fault?
