Battery dead in 12 to 14 hours.

I've had my charge 3 for almost 5 months and all of a sudden the battery goes from lasting 6 days to 12 hours. Also it's counting way too many flights of stairs. 

This is  my second charge 3, after problems with the last one I gave it the benefit of the doubt and paid for another.

I have restarted and rebooted.

My Fitbit Charge 3 was given to me as a gift in December and it stopped working in mid-April. This is my second Fitbit; the first Fitbit Alta HR was also a gift in December 2017 and stopped working in June 2019.

 

Same issues with both devices—after working just fine for months, battery starts to drain completely after having been fully charged a few hours before. 

Very disappointing—was hoping Fitbit would have figured this out by now. I’ll be looking for a more reliable tracker. Anyone have any suggestions? I like the slender profile of this tracker, but really hate that Fitbit products are so expensive but aren’t reliable!
