Battery drain due to HR sensors not turning off

Hi all,

I've developed the green lights staying on permanently issue yesterday, so far I've allowed to watch to fully drain battery and tried restarting after charging up; I've done the changing HR to off and syncing, also resetting the watch whilst connected to the USB charger.  Note that when I reset the watch like suggested, the fitbit logo appears with 22:58:00 underneath.  None of the above have worked so is my only other option to delete the charge 2 and readd it ?

Many thanks to everyone who reads and responds,

Vinny

Can you tell me what your support said to fix this problem?

Hi there,

Sure thing, they asked me to do a battery drain test as the next step -
which is pretty much the following:

Turn everything off on the options , so things like HR monitor,
notifications, quick view etc, you want it running as bare bones in effect.

Charge to 100%, the wear it, make a note of the date and time it hit 100%
and then sync.

Sync a few times during the day and make a note of when it has completely
discharged again (not just low charge warning, it has to have run down
completely)

Send these two dates and times to them or open a chat online and let them
know.

To be fair, they were really helpful and in my case they are sending me a
replacement, of course everyone's circumstances are different but I can't
fault the service I received.

They emailed me a prepaid envelope to return mine and will send out the
replacement soon as mine is received.

Hope this helps?

Vinny
