I’ve had my Fitbit Charge for about a month. After charging the device on Thursday night , I was surprised to get a notification on Friday that my battery was low. I charged again and have had to recharge every day since. I’ve noticed that the screen rarely sleeps and almost continuously flashes the time and/or the Screen Wake/Display Notifications screen. I don’t have the device set up to send texts to my phone.
No no idea what’s happening, but this is extremely frustrating.

Hi @DeeDeeVee yes, that would be very annoying. Try restarting your Charhe 3 several times and if that doesnt fix it, try a Long Restart. I will flag you post for a moderator to give further assistance.
CHARGE 3 LONG RESTART
Plug the device into the charging cable. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, hold the button down for 15 seconds. Remove your finger from button. Note: Device won't have a smiley face icon and should be off with a black screen. Remove the device from the charging cable. Plug the device into the charging cable again. The smiley face icon appears on the screen.

Welcome on board @DeeDeeVee, it's nice to see you around here! Have you tried the tips and recommendations provided by @NellyG?
The length of time your Fitbit device operates on a full charge depends on how frequently you use it and various settings. You can start by turning off the option to wake the screen when you turn your wrist:
- On your tracker, press and hold the button. For Fitbit Pay-enabled devices, swipe right to access the Quick Settings screen.
- Tap Screen Wake to adjust the setting.
Give this a go and let us know the outcome!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, @NellyG! I tried this and my Fitbit is running just fine. I’ve only had the tracker for about a month and was at my wit’s end trying to figure out how to get it back on track. Thanks so much for your helpful response.
Update; Thanks @MarreFitbit! I tried rebooting several times, but it just wasn’t working. I tried @NellyG‘s suggestion to do the little nag restart, and things are back to normal. Thanks for hearing my cry, ladies!

I have tried everything that was subjected and none of those things seems to work for me. The sad part about it is this is my 3rd Fitbit. I had 2 charge 2 before with the same issue so I went to change 3 hope that it was just a problem with the charge 2 but now I see it is a problem with Fitbit period. What a shame because I love the fitbit but I'm going to have to post a bad review on Google and Yelp.
