I have noticed for the past couple months that my fitbit charge 2's battery has been draining faster than usual. I could go a week without charging it but then it went down to a few days between charges. The last few days the charge is not even lasting a whole day. I have also noticed that the heart rate sensor is no longer working and there are lines across the screen. The lines showed up today. I have not dropped it or hit it against anything recently. I've had the charger for almost 3 years now so it might just be the end of its life but I hope there's something I can do to fix it before I have to buy another one.

The EXACT thing is happening to me. My Fitbit charge 2 is just over 2 years old and just this week the battery’s been dying by the end of the day. And lines started showing across the text on the Fitbit screen today. Mine has never been dropped either. And the green lights on the back of the Fitbit stay on permanently now. I’ve tried resetting the Fitbit when I charge it by holding the button but hasn’t made a difference.
