Battery life not lasting

My Charger 3 has been working fine since I got it for Christmas 2018 but in the last couple of days the battery has been draining very quickly. To put this in context it is now being charged up for the 3rd time in 24hrs. It usually last for 5 to 7 days on 1 charge. 

I've rebooted it a few times, used the 'added new device' option and tried cleaning the contacts of the charger 3 and used different chargers which all got it back to 100%. None of these measures have worked and the last 100% charge lasted around 3 to 4 hours. 

Can anybody help with what is causing this please?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and the details that were shared in your post, your effort and patience troubleshooting your device prior to posting are appreciated. Let me share with you that the battery of our Charge 3 was designed to last 7 days, but this also depends on how frequently you use its features. That said, I recommend you charging your Fitbit device with a USB port from a computer or a UL-certified outlet into the wall and then turn off all the features that you don’t use that much. After doing so, please this help article for more tips and recommendations.

 

Such article includes as restart process that will refresh the device's performance.
