It's nice to see you around here @Cat_h! The battery in Fitbit Charge 3 can last approximately 7 days. Because battery life is affected by use and other settings, actual results may vary. Consider these tips when you want to conserve battery life:
On a side note, if your phone is running the Android 8 operating system, you may see a notification letting you know the Fitbit app is using battery resources. For more information, see Why is the Fitbit app sending a notification to my Android phone?
Let me know if you notice an improvement on the battery life after taking those tips into considerations. I'll be around!

Anyone noticed the battery life shorter after upgrade? I didn’t change any settings but my fitbit3 used to be able to last for almost 1 week but recently it only last less than 4days?
I did a quick test that last night I charged full then this morning when I wake up it is only 86% left. It will consume 16% for 8 hour sleep?
is my battery faulty now, should I send for repair?

Hi, my fitbit charge 3 went from 71% to 3% in 2 hours and that too without any activity. Is it even possible? What do I do? Can this device be replaced?

I'm having the same problem. I had a problem with my Charge 3 earlier today. I fixed it and charged it to 100%. After working out for a little over an hour my battery was at 37%. My battery used to last longer.

Yes mine is only a few months old and since latest firmware upgrade 2-3 weeks ago it is now only lasting 3 days, before it always lasted 6-7 days

I have have the same issue.
After the firmware update my Fitbit dies within a day or two. I’m just waiting on a replacement, but fear that once I update the replacement watch I’m going to have the same problems.
I spoke to four of my work colleagues who also have the Charge 3 who have the exact same issue after the update.
I hope they are going to release a fix for battery life ASAP.

Same issue here. Went from 85% to 18% overnight, so I charged it a bit to get up to 64%. Now, 30 minutes later, the battery was at 5%, and then has since gone UP to 15%.
I’m on my 2nd Charge 3 in 8 months (first one had to be replaced due to screen issues).

Something from the last update is eating my battery. Used to last 7 days easily. Now it lasts only about 3 or 4. I have made no changes to setup.

Same issue. Three month old Charge 3 now lasts ONE day after the update. I don't want a watch that I have to stay tethered to the outlet. This watch is now JUNK!

Now magically my Charge 3 only uses 50% of battery in a week...but only syncs manually even though it is set to Continuous Sync :=(

I'm having the same issue now. For the past few weeks I've been getting 2 day battery life (see attached), and then now I can't even get a full day. I didn't really notice this until today now b/c 1 day battery life is pretty terrible and I'm ready to quit needing to charge it all the time. The support articles say to clean charging contacts, use different charger, etc, but that doesn't help. Pretty sure a smily face and 100% reading is the best you can do, and 24 hrs later I'm being asked to charge again.
