Black face on Charge 4

I have a Charge 4 that recently went black on the face.  It is still recording my steps, heart rate, sleep etc., but no clock.  Is there a way to correct this?

I am having the same problem.  been on the forum for almost an hour and while I am glad to have found someone with the same problem, I was hoping for a solution too.  Tried all the other steps.  all else is working same as you but I am not receiving any text notifications any more and the screen stays black unless I push the side button.  I bought this fitbit because I could receive text notifications on it and the HRM on it too.  hoping someone can help but from the look of all the unhappiness, im wondering if its time to look elsewhere. Such a shame too, ive had a fitbit of some sort for a VERY long time.

UPDATE: IT husband took over.  He fixed it! he did a "forget this device" from bluetooth.  uninstalled the fitbit app., restarted my fitbit device, reinstalled the fitbit app and turned on the bluetooth, verify all other notifications are turned on..  now I am getting my texts and my step notifcations and the face is now responding to touch again.  I know its a lot of steps but its worth a try to see if this could fix your problem too!

Thank you for responding. Mine doesn’t do the alerts either, and if I push the button on the side, I feel it click, but it doesn’t light up. I continue wearing it for my steps and sleep info until I decide what to do next. I think they need to work on something that will work longer than a year, because mine quit two weeks after the one year date that I bought it.
