Black line across screen on Charge 3

Hi everyone. I know it's probably been posted before, and I've read some posts on lines across the charge 3 screens, but they're all white lines. Mines black. I've rebooted it, and fully charged it and it's still there. I got it for my Christmas present a week ago, and I'm absolutely gutted. Is there a way I can get this fixed ? Thanks 😞

Hello, I am having the same problem, it was bought for me in the middle of June and recently it was showing one black line, but now a second has appeared.

Please could you advise me what I can do?

Hello,

 

I have had my charge 3 for a month and now it has black lines across the top. I tried to reboot it but that didnt help. What is my next step? please help

Contact fitbit and talk to them they may replace it

Two days ago,I saw the black lines in my Fitbit. I got disappointed after trying for several times the instructions given by other Fitbit users and it didn't to mine....please help me find a way to fix it because I need it for health reasons....

I'm glad to hear others are getting their Charge 3's replaced due to the black lines.

 

I contacted FitBit and was given some trouble shooting (restarting) which I'd already tried but tried again with still no resultes. They offered a discount on a new one, but nothing as far as replacing it for me.

 

I have had mine just over a year and the lines started last week and are multiplying rapidly. The device seems to still track as is should which makes me really not want to spend the money to replace, although I most likely will have to soon because I won't be able to read the display.

 

With all of the conversation on hear regarding this, I feel like it's a flaw in the device & wish they would take care of it with replacements.

I have owned several Fitbits and have had issues with all of them. I am on
my third Charge 3. I bought one and it broke so they sent me a new one. I
had that one 4 months before I started having issues with it. They sent me
a new Fitbit piece and now I’m having issues with it. I plugged it in and
charged it and when I took off the charger it was like the charging screen
never went away. I am not able to reboot it and it has black lines all over
the screen. I love my Fitbit but really hate how the products do not last
or work very well. So disappointing for as much as they cost.

I just received my new one. Let's hope this one lasts longer!
It also stopped monitoring heart rate right after my original post. I took
it off (which I seldom do) to see if the sensors were dirty and the sensor
panel stuck to my skin slightly, pulling away from the device. Makes me
wonder if moisture wasn't the culprit.
I liked it enough to give it another try. We shall see...

have  a fitbit alta HR has black lines they would only give me a discount on a new one.......my brother bought me a charge 3 about 2 yrs ago its had black lines for about 6 months not bothered getting in touch with fitbit because I know [we will give you a discount on a new one) what a joke........

There are so many black lines on my Charge 3 that I can't read the display.

I have contacted you previously, and received an email indicating that Customer Service would reach out to me. I've still not heard anything after several days.

I am also having the problem with the black lines on my screen.  I have a charge 3 which I got as a Christmas present. Over the last couple of days black lines have started to appear on the screen.  I have tried resetting the device and changing the clock face but nothing has worked.
