Black lines across screen on Charge 3

A couple weeks ago a black line appeared across the center of my screen, I thought it was just a glitch and would fix with the next update. Now some more lines have appeared at the top. Have tried resetting and restarting both my Fitbit and my phone (in case it was a syncing issue for some reason) nothing has gotten rid of this. I had bougth my Fitbit from Amazon.ca, so I am unsure what to do for returns or customer service. Thank you.

I live in UK and was given a charge 3 for Christmas. Today I have a black line all the way down the middle of the screen. Have rebooted Fitbit and yet it’s still there. 

Can anyone help please?

I’ve noticed my had developed a black line across the top part of the screen. Tried the usual things to sort it out but it’s still there...

A replacent unit is on its way.

Hello! I just saw that I had one line, restarted the device and now there are two lines 🤔 I haven't done an update yet... Should I? Thanks in advance!

I had a black line appear across my screen yesterday, did all the resets over the phone, didn't work. Didn't think it would though as looks like dead pixels. They are sending a replacement, my only concern is its going to happen again as seems to be a common problem and there seems to be no fix except sending a new one....

Hi.  I also have this problem with a line across my screen.  How do I resolve this issue?  Do I need a replacement? I purchased my fitbit in January 2019.

I also have lines across the top of my charge 3 screen. I restarted my phone and charge 3. I tried different clock faces, also. It is hard to see the steps at the top. Is there a way to fix this?

My fix was clearly ,

Contacted support chat and they replaced the tracker.

It is proberly a hardware isseu.

Contact Fitbit direct and they will send a replacement.

 

My replacement is all working fine but reluctant to wear it whilst swimming as afraid it will happen again .... water may be the issue?? I should be able to as that’s what it’s for but welcome anyone’s thoughts / feedback? Thanks

For asfare as knie iT is not a water issue.

 

i swim with iT 2 to 3 times a week and Worms fine

My replacement came as well but I’m afraid that it’ll happen again. Starting to think I should have just returned the watch and wait for the next version instead. This issue seems to be so prevalent it’s worrying.
