Black lines across screen on Charge 3

A couple weeks ago a black line appeared across the center of my screen, I thought it was just a glitch and would fix with the next update. Now some more lines have appeared at the top. Have tried resetting and restarting both my Fitbit and my phone (in case it was a syncing issue for some reason) nothing has gotten rid of this. I had bougth my Fitbit from Amazon.ca, so I am unsure what to do for returns or customer service. Thank you.

I got my fitbit charge 3 as a gift for Christmas and I am having the exact same problem. Please help, I am based in South Africa and the Charge 3 was bought in the UK.

Hello support, i have the same problem. My Charge3 has two black lines in the top of the display. The device is only 5 months old.

I purchased the device in the Netherlands via Bol.com. This reseller is only giving some repair option (with resending in advance) but i just can’t miss my Fitbit that long.

 

Please send some advice.

 

p.s. I did the restart already.

I have the same issue as this poster. This morning when I woke up my Charge 3 has a new black line going across the top of the screen. I've attempted restarting the device twice now and my Pixel 3 as well to see if that resolved the issue but to no avail.  I was gifted the Charge 3 last week as a graduation present and am not sure how to proceed if my device needs replacement.

Hi, I have the black lines issue on my Charge 3 too. I have tried resetting and changing the clock face, made no difference.

Hi. I received my Fitbit for Christmas 2018. It is doing the same thing described in this post with blank lines across the screen. We have updated the Fitbit and powered off several times, but still no better. Please can you help me?

Same here - Charge 3, seems to have developed half a dozen black lines across the screen since the firmware update. Restart, changing the clock face and a long restart didn’t do anything and the lines seem to be in more or less the same place. Anything else I can try? It’s functional but not exactly aesthetically pleasing 🙂

Hi! I'm having the same issue with my fitbit charge 3. I've also tried to restart the device and also did the long restart process, but both attempts didn't work. 

 

Can you guys help me? I was also getting some help on the chat, but for some reason it crashed and I don't know why.

I have this same issue happening. I had one black line to start, and throughout this week two more appeared. I've tried looking to make sure my app on my phone is updated, restarted that, restarted the FitBit itself as well. After the restart, I now have a 4th line across the clock face. I just got this one earlier this summer as a replacement for my original device which I bought in February of this year when it started showing lines across the screen. It's a little concerning that this is a common enough issue that my device isn't even lasting 6 months before glitching out like this. Either that or I'm just "lucky."

Just contact Fitbit support. They replaced mine without any fuss.
