Black lines across screen on Charge 3

A couple weeks ago a black line appeared across the center of my screen, I thought it was just a glitch and would fix with the next update. Now some more lines have appeared at the top. Have tried resetting and restarting both my Fitbit and my phone (in case it was a syncing issue for some reason) nothing has gotten rid of this. I had bougth my Fitbit from Amazon.ca, so I am unsure what to do for returns or customer service. Thank you.

My Charge 3 is now showing same black line as others described. I have loved my fitbits but with issue after issue i am very frustrated. Where would i find Customer Support phone#? I appreciate the Community support.

Resetting doesn't work and more lines are appearing.

Send your charge 3 back to fitbit and they will replace it. : )

Hello,

 

I am also noticing black lines across my Fitbit Charge 3 and resetting my fitbit and phone has not solved it. I started off with just a couple but now they are slowly increasing in number. How would I go about resolving this issue or contacting customer service?

Never swam or gotten mine wet, still got the black lines.

I am also experiencing this issue. A black line appeared about a week ago, as of today there are four lines across the top of the devices screen. Resetting the device has been fruitless, please advise.

Hi,

I suggest contacting FitBit customer support... I ended up having to get a replacement device as nothing could fix my device.

Hi there, I have a similar problem to others. My fitbit has developed horizontal black lines at the top of the screen. I have rebooted, changed watch faces and rebooted while plugged in. Originally the issue only arose when the battery was low but now it is constant. Thanks for any help you can provide.

My Charge 3 which I bought last year had black lines running across the screen back in January.  I contacted Fitbit and they sent me another Charge 3 which was working great until now.  Now I have the same problem with black lines running across the screen and slowly getting worse every day. I will contact them again but I think I'm past the one year warranty.  This seems to be a very common problem and must be a design flaw.  I'm not a happy camper.

I contacted fitbit. Only offered me 25% off a new one. Bought it April 2019.

I contacted Customer Service on Friday. They offered to replace the Charge 3 or 50% off of a new model. Unfortunately the Charge 4 wasn’t eligible for the 50% off so I opted for the Charge 3 replacement. It’s been shipped and I’m supposed to receive it by tomorrow. I originally bought the Charge 3 last September so it is still under the one year warranty. Customer service was awesome. No hassles at all.

Mine has been doing the same thing with the black lines and I didn't think anything of it but now the screen in the top left corner has faded and it only gets worse so now I can barely see my screen. I restarted my fitbit many times but it's still getting worse. I love my fitbit so I just want to fix it as fast I can.

It can’t be fixed. Contact customer service. If you are still under warranty they will send you a replacement.

There has been a dark line that has appeared on my charge 3 watch screen and I have tried everything that people on the website told me to do and nothing works. I have tried the long restart, changing watch face, the normal restart, and others. What should I do?
