Black lines on Charge 3 screen

Hi this is the second Fitbit 3 I got as I return the first one with black I have had the one 6 months and it is now got black line and the face is fading so it hard to read

I am sorry to hear the screen on your Charge 3 is fading and showing lines. I appreciate the additional details and I am here to help. I recommend doing the following:

 

  1. Restart the device: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  2. Change a clock face: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
  3. Long restart:  
  • Connect the device to the charging cable.
  • While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  • The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration
  • The device turns off.
  • The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  • Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  • Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

Additionally, I recommend checking if your Fitbit app is updated to the latest version as updates come with new features and bug fixes: How do I update the Fitbit app?

Hi have done this but still can’t read face as it’s fading also change clock but still can’t see

Hi, I've been experiencing the same issues - started last week with a few horizontal lines, have tried restarting etc and it's not helped - the lines are now getting worse - have started appearing vertically as well as horizontal - can you please help/advise next steps?

 

 

Fitbit bought for xmas last year, so less than 1 year old.

I reported the exact same issues earlier yesterday (19 October) but did not get feedback from anyone at Fitbit. I did all the recommendations previously posted by other people and even now checked my app for updates but still have the same missing lines. (Here are photos to show my frustration with the compromised screen)

My Fitbit face in now all black so can’t read it at all

Hi I too have black lines in my charge 3. I have completed the update and the long restart and the complete display is still missing with black lines. This is my second charge 3. My last one was replaced last year for a white out display problem. Please help.
