Black screen on Charge 2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi I am a Charge2 user and the device was working fine till the day before when after charging the screen has gone black and will not activate - I have tried the suggested steps. The device still seems to be syncing with the phone as I can see stats. I have been a Fitbit loyalist (not changed to Apple Watch) but this is extremely frustrating and need help. Did not see any posts on it for charge 2 and since it is the exact same issue as the charge 3 users - tagging it on here.  Please Help. Thank you.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Charge2user2018. I´m sorry to hear your Charge 2 screen has gone black and thank you for trying the suggested steps.

Please confirm that you have restarted your tracker with the following steps:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button to restart your tracker for 4 seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
