Hello,
since today I have a black screen on my Fitbit charge 3.
I already tried to reset a few times, and after a while I got a grey screen with verticale lines. But then it just went black again.
I also tried to change the clock, that didn’t work either, nor trying to restart it.
what can be te problem?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @valerie92.
I am sorry to hear your Charge 3 has a black screen. Thanks for trying to resolve this, I appreciate the additional details and I am here to help. Since you've tried to restart the tracker and change a clock face, I would like to confirm if you've tried doing a long restart:
Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Mine has gone too. This is the 3rd one I've had break in just over a year and a half. Cant email them as not available anymore and live chat unavailable. Very disappointed 😞

Judie’s charge 3 is light grey and doesn’t react to reset or tapping. I’ve had on the charger with no response
I think it is dead

From Judy Allen
iI got a battery icon, pressed the button and got a clock face grey with a white line down the middle. Still not a black background

Mine's got a black screen too. This is my second replacement after my first Charge 3 had the grey vertical lines. Not happy at all considering these are not cheap products. Seems to be a design flaw which should be rectified...

I am having the same problem with my Charge 3. I tried the reset and when I put it on the charger and hold the button down for 15 seconds the device will buzz and then shut off. Nothing appears on the screen. I then take it off the charger, put it back on, but still nothing happens. I have tried this several times hoping that something will come up on the screen but it doesn't. One time it did keep buzzing for awhile after I took my finger off the button and unplugged it from the charger, but the screen remains blank. This started on Friday with a full charge and after synching with my cell phone in the afternoon. I had tried tapping it to see the time while I was swimming an hour or so earlier. Something came up on the screen but I couldn't read it and after that the screen went black. I have not been able to get anything to come up on the screen since. I have only had this FitBit for about a year and a half. I bought it to replace my Charge 2 which had been working fine for a couple of years because I had joined a swim club and the Charge 3 could be used in the pool.

HUH!! Must be something in the air!!! Mine did exactly same thing this afternoon: perhaps they’ve built in a drop dead feature??!!
