Blackberry Keyone no call & text notifications

Hi everyone.

I WRITE THIS POST AS I COULD NOT RESOLVE PROBLEM WITH ADVICES FOUND ON THIS AND OTHER FORUMS.

Myself and my wife recently bought new Fitbits for ourselves.

I got Charge 3, she took Charge 2.

Our phones are Blackberry Keyone (Mine 64/4GB, Her 32/3GB - identical system description, Oreo 8.1.0).

Setting up Charge 3 was easy-peasy - works fantastic (on both phones).

The issue is that Charge 2 on my missus phone will not receive call & message notifications.

But when I tried on my phone (with default Charge 2 settings) it was working fine (about 3 second delay on receiving notification).

I tried everything (as mentioned I went trough all proposed popular solutions from the forum) :

- keep alive widget + always connected, encryption,

- switch on all possible permissions for Fitbit app

- reinstalling Fitbit App,

- network setting reset,

- Bluetooth cache reset,

- finally system factory reset....

No positive result 😞

I can see it may be BB software bug, but maybe I missed something.

I would really appreciate your help.

Many thanks

Is the device you are trying to sync to a supported device?

It is not.

BTW.  The list of supported devices is a joke...

@willy1066  Welcome! It's great to see you around! Sorry to hear that you aren't getting notifications on your Blackberry phone. Your phone doesn't show as compatible but that doesn’t mean it won’t work it just means that it hasn’t been tested by our team. You can try going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. You can find additional suggestions here.

I'll be around.

Hi Modal,
