Blank/black screen on charge 2

As of 2 days ago I lost my screen, it is blank/black.  Green lights on back are working, it vibrates when connected to charging station (I use the one provided by Fitbit).  

 

I have walked through the reset/troubs that is posted in the forum..... No luck.

 

I also noticed that an update was recently done and I had no issues until the update.  My screen began messing up by having lines through the display, could not read it clearly.  It still synced.

 

I am a little confused at why Fitbit doesn't stand behind their product, especially if the only moisture is from sweat.  A 25% off discount on a new one is a cheap gesture when the item clearly has an issue; this problem has been experienced by many of your loyal customers.

Do you know the expression Planned obsolescence ?

Can't find any watch repair service on the internet...
