Blank face on Charge 3

Have had my Charge 3 for a month. This afternoon the screen doesn't show up when I press the side button. It is fully charged and is still vibrating and syncing with my app. I have tried restarting it as suggested here, but no success.  Any thoughts?

Welcome on board @133deb, it's nice to see you around here! Thanks for already restarting your tracker in order to sort this out. Nice way to go!

 

Since your tracker is still syncing and vibrating, I'd recommend trying to change the current clock face to another one and see if this brings your screen back. Smiley Very Happy Once the screen is back, you can change your clock face to the default one. 

 

Open the Fitbit app and tap or click the Account icon > Your device image > Clock Face (Clock Display on Android). If you change the clock face, sync your tracker to see the change.

 

Give this a shot and let me know the outcome!

Thank you for the help!  I changed the face and it worked like a charm. Thankful to have found a solution as I really like my Charge 3!

I only have one clock face available to choose and it’s the one I used to have. It doesn’t let me choose another face. How do I reset it? I don’t want to lose any data.

Hello there @DeeNied, thanks for jumping in here! If you only have one clock face available, choose that one or try logging out and logging back into your Fitbit app to see if there are more options available after that.

 

If you keep seeing only one option, choose that clock face and sync. Once the screen is back you can select a different one. The steps can be found at: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?

I woke up this morning my fit bit face was all distorted I switched on and off and now my screen remains blank it still connects to my phone I have tried to change clock face and nothing has happened please help xx

Hi there, my charge 3 is also blank with no change after a restart or changing **ahem** faces... could someone advise on resolution here please? Fitbit is still vibrating and syncing. Thank you!

I've  tried  restarting, changing the clock face and performing the long restart but none of them seem to be working.

I also have the same issue. The side button causes the Fitbit to vibrate but it does not turn the screen on. The Fitbit is still syncing to my iPhone but changing clock faces does not turn the screen on. Interestingly, if I perform a reset of the device the screen will turn on and I can flip through the menus and even use the side button to come back out of sub-menus but as soon as I let the screen go black and press the side button again it does nothing. This appears to be a software problem given the side button works fine navigating back out of menus but it just won’t turn the screen on. Could you put me in touch with the support team to help me with my issue? Many thanks

I have had a blank face on my charge 3 X july when I did the update. I have changed clock face, I have tried to reset it.... I was once fwd to support- with no help or reply back... I am getting very mad with this update it has ruined my charge 3!!!

  can someone help!!!

I have tried the same suggestions and my screen is still blank. I tried to reset and now I can't pair my device to the app because I can't see the 4 digit code on my screen. I am at my wits end with this device.

I called customer service & since my charge 3 is still under warranty, they
are mailing me another pebble...

Please don't forget that you can set up new your Charge 3 on your currently Fitbit account without losing any previous data by following the steps below:

 

  1. Tap the Today tab and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

Three days ago, my Charge 3 screen went blank. The fitbit still tracks movement, but I cant enter any exercise modes. Ive done soft and hard resets, as well as changed my face, but nothing has worked.

 

Please help.

I ended up having to get a replacement pebble after speaking with customer service! No quibbles and was with me within a few days! Worth chatting to them - cheers!

I had this same exact problem but I unpaired my Charge 3 cause nothing was working. I’ve tried the long restart and the clock face change and nothing works. The watch vibrates but there is no display. So I can’t even pair it up again with my iPhone cause I can’t see the 4 digit code that shows in the display to type in my iPhone 😖 please help
