Take it off charge and return it for a replacement from where you purchased it.
If it's getting hot, that suggests a battery failure and you don't want to be wearing it or trying to charge it if it's now defective.
Where are the moderators here, with all these hot batteries and no safety warnings?

My Charge 3 started showing lines so I did a reset and changed the clock. The phone went from 100% to 14% in a matter of hours and it was vibrating with a very dull screen. I plugged into charger and heard it constantly vibrating when I went into room. The fitbit was red hot and not showing anything on the screen. I've had this for close to a year and I'm very disappointed at this as I've become so dependent on it. Please help!
