Brand new charge hr won’t turn on

Brand new charge hr given as a gift in unopened packaging yesterday. Followed instructions, it will sync to my phone but display won’t turn on. Have tried reset several times and charger icon keeps showing lightning bolt, then exclamation mark, then saying it’s full but has never turned on! Help 😭

I would take it back and exchange it where ever you got it. Sounds defective

Is it really a charge HR? These haven't been made in 3.5 years.

Yes positive it is.

It might be that your 3-4 year old brand new Charge HR may have a bad battery.

Then check the box it came in. it will not be a Charge HR which was replaced by the Charge 2 which has been replaced by a Charge 3. 

 

I've been simply trying to ascertain which tracker we are talking about. 

 

If it is a new tracker you can contact Fitbit, if it is a Charge HR you can still call but won't be under warranty.
