Broken Charge 4 clip?

Ok. I don’t think this is just a problem that I’m having because it literally happens every few months. The clips on the side of my tracker (Charge 4) break right where it attaches to the band. I’ve literally gone through an average of 2-3 trackers a year because of this problem. That’s absurd and expensive. Anyway, I go through the usual routine of contacting Fitbit, file a claim, and then I’m sent a replacement, albeit refurbished, Charge 4. Great. Only problem is that it eventually breaks again and then Fitbit won’t do anything about it because it’s refurbished. Then I purchase a new one, spending well over $100. Well played, Fitbit. Well! I came across a band on Amazon that will work with the Charge 4 (and I think 5 & 6 as well) that doesn’t snap in but you just insert the tracker into the silicone housing. Brilliant! Now when my Charge 4 breaks AGAIN (because we all know it will!) I don’t have to spend money on a new tracker! I know people who have had the same tracker for years and years; all Garmin users. I’ve probably spent close to $800 in replacements over the years. That’s insane. I love Fitbit and don’t want to try another brand. I just wish they’d fix this flaw in the tracker/band attachment. Until they do, I’ve found a perfect solution! Maybe this will help out some fellow “Fitbiters” who are sick of the same thing happening to them.

Hi @Shobescat  yes, it's been mentioned many times on the forums. Those who don't mind doing a search on the forums and then on Amazon will find the special protecting band to place the pebble. It's great you were able to find one you liked.

Great idea. I'll have to look for that when the super glue wears. Yes, I super glued my band to the watch when the clip broke, Cheap plastic. When this watch dies, I'm done with Fitbit!
