The first time it happened, FitBit was great! They asked me to take pictures of my band and my Charge 2 and then sent a replacement band. But it's been a few months, and it happened again! This time I can see the problem, it's the side with the holes, not the buckle. and the end in front of the metal piece, both of the little squares are broken/breaking away from the main part of the band.
I researched this further and found that this is very common. I was thinking of upgrading to a Versa, but it happens with that watch too.
I was wondering if Gorilla Glue would help stabilize the little squares so that they wouldn't break.

Yep my band broke same place. I was very careful with the second band (Fitbit did not send me) and it lasted a bit longer but still broke. I have been using the silicone bands to keep it on...but that is not working well anymore. Can't keep buying bands or buy a new fitness tracker every few months....there should be a recall on these they are so bad.

I've had problems with broken bands over the years. My suggestion is to either go to the magnetic band or buy the generic bands off Ebay. I bought a set of 3 bands for under $20 from Ebay. When these are gone, I'm going to get the magnetic band. BTW, I have a Charge 2.

Have the generic bands broke?

Oh yes. I didn't expect them to last that long. I bought a lot of 3 in January for $6.77. The first one broke a few weeks ago. A lot of it has to do with the way I take it off I think. I bend the strap back and it starts to get a crease in it. Regardless, it's cheaper than a Fitbit band that will break at some point too. I'll get a magnetic band when these are done.

I've never seen a magnetic band.
