Broken screen on Fitbit Charge 2 HR

My Charge 2 HR has literally developed a massive crack down the middle of the screen and just stopped working.  I went back to the shop I bought it from and they advised me to contact Fitbit. I have the receipt  for proof of purchase. Can anyone help or advise?

There is another thread about this.  It's a huge problem with Charge 2.  If you're in warranty, Fitbit might help but if you're out of warranty then you are probably out of luck.  Check out the thread "Can a Cracked screen be replaced" - it has nearly 90,000 views.  Go to the charge 2 community page https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-2/bd-p/charge2. and look for it if this link doesn't work:
