Hello the lug on my charge 4 face has broken off. This means I cannot attach the stray on that side - so I can't wear it. Does anyone know if there is a repair service? Thank you.

Fitbit don't offer repair services I'm sorry to say. Are you still within warranty? If so, you should be eligible for a replacement.

Hi I have the exact same problem , its been falling off for a few weeks but today its completely broken off. I think its still under warranty nearly a year old. I cant wear mine either. Wonder if its a fault in this watch.

I just found this page to ask the exact same question! The bottom end of my Charge 4 is breaking away and I can't find any way to contact the company for repair.

Hi. I had the same problem. This is because the lugs are made of plastic and not metal like the charge 3. I was able to buy a strap on amazon that you pop the charge 4 body into. It holds it snugly and you can charge it without removing from the strap. I also found the same straps on aliexpress less than half the price of amazon so have ordered another from there to have as a spare.

For those wanting to check their warranty status - and claim a replacement if they are still covered, the first step is to contact customer support via contact.fitbit.com

This is a common problem and FitBit has been aware of it for a long time. If you've had it under a year they'll send you a "new" one. In my case it was just the working unit in a plastic bag and seemingly refurbished (ie, junk). That one also broke within a year and their warranty policy is that the warranty on the replacement is only good until the warranty on the original would have expired, so I'm kind of SOL.
A couple suggestions: 1. If you get a replacement let them know you expect a NEW one. 2. if it dies after warranty they'll offer you a 35% discount... if you want to get back on that same ride again (this might actually be OK- upgrade from a busted 4 to a brand new 5 for under $100). 3. do as I do and go the Superglue route which so far seems to work fine.
Good luck!

Just to add to that, the warranty is 2 years if you are in Europe.

I bought a refurbished replacement which arrived today. It arrived with the same lug broken off - so again unusable and going back.
So frustrating and I still can't find a way of contacting Fitbit!

Purchased my Fitbit Charge 4 in early December 2021 and the clip broke about two weeks ago with the lugs of the clip snapped off and embedded into the watch body. I purchased the watch primarily to keep record of my steps on the golf course and elsewhere. Looked through many reports of purchasers who have experienced the same problem, and there is not an easy replacement. I have had to superglue the clip and band to the body of the watch and I will see how long that lasts.

One band detached from my watch while I was exercising and I didn't realize there was a small spring inside, which as a result went missing. I believe this is a design fault as there is no way of properly repairing it. My Fitbit Charge 4 is seven months old. I have scoured the internet for a repair kit that includes the clip that attaches to the watch body, as well as the spring and the smaller clip that allows the watch band to be removed, but to no avail.

@David1880 if your fitbit is only 7 months old you should still be covered by the warranty and eligible for a replacement. I suggest you contact customer support to see how they can help: contact.fitbit.com

Hi, this has happened to me as well, it only happened today so I am hoping they will change it for a new one. It is obviously an issue with the materials used or the design.
Have you managed to get yours exchanged yet?
