For the first time I've had a concern regarding my Charge 2. Yesterday it said that I burned over 2800 calories and that was only with just over 6200 steps. The number seems excessively high. Normally I target 5000 steps per day. I would expect to burn nearly 3000 calories if I was walking 10,000 steps per day, but maybe I'm not right. My weight is around 175 pounds.

@Cowgirl1973 Welcome! It's good that the community is growing! Thank you for your inquiry. Caloric burn is calculated by the steps and activities your tracker detects and the heart rate readings. Check if your heart was normal during this last few days and see if you don't have any logged activities (specially from third party apps that you might have linked to your account). You can read more about calories calculation here.
Let me know how it goes!
