Both the calories out tracker and GPS on my Charge 3 are inaccurate to the point of totally useless.
It logged a run around my local park, which is a loop exactly 2 miles long, as over 3 miles. It’s just as inaccurate on other routes where I know the distance ahead of time.
Now, the calorie tracker somehow thinks I burn about 4 times what I actually do. I tried resetting it, setting my activity level to sedentary, basically all the troubleshooting things I could find. I actually followed its calorie recommendation for maintaining my current weight to the letter for two days just to see what it did. And in doing that I gained 3 lbs in less than 48 hours.
Is there any way to fix these issues? I’d hate to think I wasted $100 on a tracker that does not do what it’s supposed to, actually ends up making things worse, and confusing everything about my health tracking due to being so inaccurate.
Thanks
