My calories burned seems really high and although I won't alter my diet based on what my fitbit says, I'd like to know if I should question these numbers?
I'm 23, 5ft 3, and 102 pounds. I work 5 days a week. When I work, I work 6 hours where I'm constantly on my feet moving around.
Today for example my fitbit says I've burned 2,771 calories and 24,654 steps. I worked out after work, 364 calories/6,417 steps come from an hour of cardio. My average heart rate was 174 during the jog. During work, the highest my HR got was 117.
On an average work day, my fitbit is saying I'm burning between 2-2300 calories in a full day. Is that possible for someone of my height and weight?

Hey @amarie33, welcome to the Fitbit forums!
I would say yes. Remember that your body is always burning calories, even when you are sleeping, and because your Charge 2 is a heart rate monitor, you can rely on that the calories burned are even more accurate. Fitbit uses you BMR (height, weight and gender) to give yo an estimated of calories burned. Also, if we considered that you also work out, and that you walk a lot during your work hours, the amount seems to be pretty accurate to me.
For further information about calories burned, please take a look at this help article: How does Fitbit estimate how many calories I've burned?
Let me know if you have further questions!
