This problem can be down to the fitbit tracking too many steps or it calculating the calorie burn. Does your step count look reasonable? If so, check your profile settings for age, height and weight as there have a direct affect on the calorie calculations. You can do this via the web interface at https://www.fitbit.com/settings/profile
Can I also check that you are taking into account your BMR calories - those that you burn just keeping your body alive, even when asleep. Many people are surprised to see these included in their daily calorie totals and can lead to them thinking the numbers are too high.

I would check those profile settings in case one has been accidentally changed. Does your step count seem ok?
