Calories calculated are lower on active days

The calorie counter makes no sense. I can do loads of steps, floors etc, and get lower calorie count than a much more sedentary day. Totally illogical

@JBGlobal It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

 

Let me help you with your caloric burn calculation. This does seem odd. How are you logging your activities (via the tracker, manually logging it or auto-detection)? Remember that your personal information is used to calculate your BMR which are the calories you body uses for normal bodily functions so please check this information. Also do you have any third party apps linked to your account that log activities? This could also affect the calorie calculation.
