@JTB10197 Thanks for joining the Fitbit Community! I moved your post to the Charge 2 Board as there are more chances for you to receive an answer to your inquiry here.

The only way to change the midnight reset time is by changing the time zone to another one that will midnight at the time you want your tracker to reset.

However, I don't recommend doing that as the time on your Charge 2 will show incorrectly all the time.

I do recommend voting for this feature suggestion I found that is asking for this same option.

Hope this helps. See you around! Smiley Happy

I don't understand. After doing some looking around people have been asking for this feature since 2012. How difficult could it be to add an option to let you select what time the daily stats reset? I'm no programmer, but it couldn't possibly be any more difficult than the features they've already implemented.

If I want my stats to reset at 3am when I go to bed I should be able to do that. I don't want to change the time of day or mess with time zones. That's a lazy answer.

How many people have to vote for this feature and for how long before they actually do it? Does "voting" really do anything or are people wasting their time?

I definitely agree with Nathan.. This is ridiculous that it takes so much time to add this feature, especially when it is such a relevant feature to have all your stats of the day at the right day. There's no point that you have to calculate yourself what you've done before and after midnight. This is definitely so big problem, that I won't recommend Fitbit for my friends to buy before this problem is solved.

I am a highschool student and I'm in marching band. We don't get to go home on compitition days until like 1am and I don't have time to sync my steps before midnight so I have lost about 50,000 steps due to the time reset. It is very frustrating.

Sorry but Voting does nothing. Fitbits hardware is great but i think they should fire all their software devs and hire more brilliant ones. Only reason im staying on fitbit and not switching to Apple Watch is for the durability of the bands and the HR monitor.

They wont do simple things that makes sense to the user like Dark Mode, ability to change daily reset time and fix a plethora of other bugs that been in the app for years. Not cool.

Btw, i made my own Dark Theme and its beautiful

On the list of simple improvements Fitbit needs to make, let’s not forget that when we increase any of our goals they currently retroactively change the goals all the way through our history. So, when our goals may have been lower and we reached them, then when we increase our goals our Fitbit indicates we didn’t reach them.

Seems to me that it takes more work to retroactively adjust the goals, then it would to just change it in real time moving forward.

🙌  except what’s kind of funny to me.. is that I googled this exact question.. I then literally just went on a rant to my fiancée “I can’t believe people have been complaining about this for years and nothing has been done about it yet!! 🤦‍:female_sign:“

noting the date of this post.... (Nathan)

I guess they never will??

im a bartender, so just like nurses, night owls or 3rd shift peeps.. can we puhhhleaasssee get a function that makes this a thing?!! I just want to know my ‘true’ days worth of stats.
it alerts me to “get ready for bed” at 4:30am... but it won’t consider 5am my bedtime.. the end of my day.. and than start fresh at I dunno like noon. If I can choose the start day of my week, why can’t I choose the start hour of my day?

And here we are in 2021 and they still haven't added this feature. 🤦🏻‍:female_sign:

@AprilBelieve   @NathanS90   Fitbit has no plans to allow users to adjust the daily reset time.  It doesn't matter how many users ask for it.
