So I was entering my weight the other day and I didn't realize that the 0 I had typed didn't go in when I pushed save. I edited the weight back up to the original (210 rather than 21), but I also realized that I had gotten a ton of badges for weight loss! (about 40 badges) I really want to earn them by actually doing the work, so is there any way to delete/remove badges? (so I can re-earn them later).

That’s because you can’t delete them. You have to ask the guys at Fitbit to delete them for you. Really silly.

Me too! Is this a fix that will be addressed soon so that we can edit our own data, or is there now a centralised solution? I have multiple weight badges that I haven’t actually earned; would like all my weight badges deleted please.

So first there were updates removing the user interface functionality to remove badges but customer service was doing it on request. Now after another update even the customer service cannot do that. Another day I read here that in Fitbit Charge 5 which is the newest update to the Charge line they removed removed altimeter/floor counting feature (for me a non go). And normally updates should be providing more functionalities and better customer experience...

update: the support agent Juan i first contacted on live chat must have been clueless.
seeing that others in the forum did get their wrong badges removed, i contacted the fitbit by twitter support to ask if its really true they cant remove the wrong badges - then they did remove the badges, in 24 hours.
ps. they had to forward my request to "specialized team" (so i guess developers) for this

I had the same issue and was told by customer support that they can't even delete them for me. They told me thanks for understanding but I don't understand. I am a software developer and this makes absolutely no sense to me.

It’s literally so stupid! Like I just wanna earn the badges in a legit way. Not just get them when I haven’t even earned them. We should be able to delete them ourselves

Hello,
I would like to have my weight loss badges removed too. I got a bunch of badges that I didn't even earned because I adjusted my weight. I have called the support line and did the support chat and it got me nowhere. They said that they can't even delete them now. Is there anyone that can delete them? Development team? Anyone?

I have the same issue. My scales made an error and recorded my weigh at 5st. Now I have loads of weight badges and a prompt to change my goal. Apparently this used to be something people could edit ourselves. Why on earth have fitbit changed it? This is enough to put me off fit bit. I have tried using Live Chat but it didn't work. If you can get someone to contact me, I would be very grateful. Thank you

The chat worked on my phone and I spoke to a support agent. The issue is being passed on to be addressed. I will update with the outcome.
